While on the Classmates Marketing team, I was hired to improve email campaigns. The goal was to improve conversion rates by bringing more traffic to the website. I designed and developed countless number of email templates and components, designed rules, as well as improved development process for the email team by incorporating css3 with email templates prompting seamless updates across all campaigns when necessary without need for manual labor. Classmates Email Campaigns are highly robust, dynamic, complex and templatized; extremely dependent on very complex set of rules dictating what components of the email will ultimately be sent to the end user. I have designed from triggered emails, post-purchase, reminder, to abandonment to large campaigns like Blast campaign that was composed out of sometimes 50+ components. Part of my job was also to track email performances in Adobe Analytics. By using pixel tracking as well as customized unique targets assigned to each and every CTA I was able to very accurately monitor each campaign performance.
